Tired Of The Gym: Allow Betty Rocker To Change Your Work Out

A new year is upon us, and many of us find ourselves creating resolutions to obtain a much more fit and healthy lifestyle. You know the drill, January 1st and the gym is packed with people trying to commit to those very promises that everyone else has made. One week into a new routine, and you find yourself getting discouraged because you don’t look like you stepped off the Victoria Secret runway.

Once a rookie myself, I’ve learned there are ways to make your goals last. It’s great that you want to make a change, but leaping into hours of cardio and forcing yourself to lift and try machines you barely know will burn you out and force you out the door quicker than you came in.

My advice: baby steps. Especially those who have no experience, and seem to have a tough time being consistent. Hold off on the gym and start with a thirty-day challenge in the comfort of your own home.

Yep, that’s right… the gym is not necessary! No more scrambling around, going from machine to machine; wondering if you’re even doing them right.  These challenges are simple movements that force you to use your bodyweight to complete each set. Copying the proper form shown in the video below mixed with eating clean, your results will be visible in the first week.

My personal favorite are the challenges created by Bree Argetsinger, famously known as “Betty Rocker.” She has helped thousands of people worldwide transform their bodies in just 30 days.

Her challenges are available to sign up for online by simply typing in your e-mail and waiting for confirmation. Once confirmed, you get a new workout video every week. These videos consist of seven different bodyweight exercises that progressively get more challenging as each week passes by. These seven moves are done for one minute a piece with 3-5 sets. Sounds pretty simple right?
