Michael Jackson may have passed away 5 years ago on June 25, 2009, but his career is still alive and thriving. Recently it was announced that Jackson’s estate would be releasing another album with unreleased music from Michael’s personal vault. The album, titled Xscape, released on May 14, is filled with reworked demos and tons of new material produced by some of music’s well known producers like Timbaland and Rodney Jerkins. The album’s lead single, Love Never Felt So Good, is a perfect blend of Off The Wall/Thriller era Michael with today’s R&B grooves. Accompanying Jackson on this track is Justin Timberlake, whose vocals makes this track a smash hit.
What’s even more incredible than the song itself is the music video. Released earlier this week, the video features Timberlake performing with dancers of all ages and clips from the King of Pop’s videos like Black or White, Jam, Speed Demon, and Billie Jean, just to name a few. Dancers and impersonators are seen in front of the camera singing along, and paying homage to their inspiration by performing his choreography, and performing it on sets reminiscent of Jackson’s videos for Billie, Bad, and Beat It.
This music video is definitely worth watching. Dancer or non-dancer, Jackson fan or not, this is something you don’t want to miss. Jackson may be gone, but his spirit lives on. That spirit lives on in the hearts of performers all across the world who are driven by his message of love and are inspired by him to perform.
This song, pardon the pun, is a “feel good” anthem. It’s one of those songs you can blast driving down the street, windows down, speakers blasting. But hey don’t take my word for it. Watch the video below and let us know your thoughts. By the way, if you haven’t bought Xscape, then what are you waiting for? Go out and get yourself a copy.
But get in the groove before you get a copy:
