Most Easter egg hunts you’re lucky to find a few chocolate coins, stale Peeps, and a chocolate bunny. But Harrods doesn’t host most Easter egg hunts–they boasted the most lavish Easter egg hunts with the prize being an impressive jeweled egg pendant from Russian art jeweler Fabergé. Shoppers could enter to win their own Fabergé egg pendant as they scavenged for six splendid eggs quietly hidden by quite the extravagant Easter Bunny.
Visitors were able to step into the jeweler’s shoes, designing custom Fabergé egg pendants at the pop-up Egg Bar stationed in the famed shopping emporium and seeing their intricate creations projected on a grandiose, giant egg hologram in the store window.
Though Easter came early in Harrods (the Fabergé hunt ended on March 28th) Harrods is still a glamorous place to be in, and who knows, maybe there are more crown eggs hidden than we think so don’t hop away just yet!
